What ID can you use to get into clubs?
Suitable ID is photographic ID with a hologram, such as a driving licence, passport or a PASS card. Student cards are not acceptable. Unfortunately, some people have been presenting fake, borrowed, altered or stolen ID in order to get into a club or buy alcohol, which can be a criminal offence.
School IDs are valid proof of identification of students who are currently enrolled.
Students should not lend their student ID cards to someone else—this creates a security concern and could potentially allow them to access the student's records or make purchases if it has money on it. The student ID can be confiscated, and all parties involved may face disciplinary action or fines.
Having your TOTUM + Age ID card doesn't mean that the door staff have to give you access to a pub or club, or that you'll get served at the bar. Most UK retailers and pub chains do support PASS accredited cards but their staff still have the right to refuse to serve or admit people that they suspect of being too young.
