If you miss your flight, you must adhere to Spirit Airlines' No-Show Policy. Spirit Airlines' Missed Policy allows you to rebook your ticket on the next available departure. The cost will be $200 for a missed flight rebooking fee plus the price difference between the old and new flights.
If you don't turn up for a flight, you will either be rebooked on another flight, charged a cancellation fee or will lose the entire value of your ticket. Which of these happen will depend on the reasons you are missing the flight, the type of flight/ticket you have booked and whether or not you inform the airline.
For most people, purchasing Free Spirit points will not make any sense, but if you're close to having enough points for an award, or have a planned usage of your points, purchasing under this sale can be worth it over waiting until the points go back to full price.
